Freefold Suit Carrier System Case Study

HIGSON CASE STUDY V4-03

D&P was approached by inventor and entrepreneur Tony Higson who was featured on BBC2’s Dragons’ Den series. The brief was to take an already good product and make it great. We were asked to further develop and commercialise Tony’s original prototype for the product. There was also to be a new bag design targeted to a specific demographic, as well as concepts for a range of luggage products to complement the Freefold system.

D&P’s expert design and project input, coupled with Tony’s success mindset has helped him achieve his initial business goals. He was able to strike a license deal and launch his own version of the product through his own company. We wish him every success as he continues to move forward strongly with ‘Freefold’. Our work on this project was highly tuned to achieve Tony’s business goals. We always take a bespoke approach to every client and make sure that our end result is truly going to make a difference. With this product the client has gone on to win two product design awards for functionality and innovation.
